Machine Overview

Our decorative paper gravure printing machine is a purpose-built rotogravure press for melamine decorative paper and wood grain paper. It forms the backbone of the decorative panel supply chain, feeding printed rolls into melamine impregnation lines, laminate pressing or direct coating processes for furniture board, flooring and cabinet panel production.

Key Process Features

• Substrate range: decorative base paper 60-130 g/m2, covering the standard weight range for melamine and wood-grain surfacing paper.
• Print speed: 80-200 m/min in steady production, with automatic color register control for consistent multi-color registration.
• Register accuracy: repeat accuracy within +/-0.1 mm for sharp wood-grain and decorative patterns.
• Web width: machines sized from 1,050 mm to 2,200 mm to match your substrate roll format.
• Ink durability: printing inks used on the line are formulated to withstand hot pressing at 180-210°C, common in melamine lamination.

Line Integration

This press can be supplied as a complete gravure printing line with impregnation and hot pressing, giving an artificial board factory a turnkey solution from base paper to finished decorative sheet. Customized width and color count are available on request.
