Being an "X" coffee drinker myself, I like the following method the best, since
it lets me make good use of my old coffee maker. To make tea in your coffee maker,
you use the same procedure as you would as if you were brewing coffee. Water boiled
through the coffee maker has the same temperature required for brewing Green Tea.
But of course, you can brew your Linan green tea any number of traditional ways as well,
such as by using a tea pot, or tea ball for example.
You might try the coffee maker method to see whether it
is convenient for you and fits your personal taste, as it's probably the fastest method,
but It is important to make sure that your coffee maker does not carry any leftover coffee
taste which could affect the aroma of the Green Tea. You might want to give it good
cleaning according to the manufacturer's instructions first.
To make tea in your coffee maker, treat the loose
leaves of Green Tea just as if it were ground coffee by putting it in the paper filter,
only don't use as much tea as you would use coffee! It does not take as much at all
to brew a good pot of tea. Proper proportion is 1 level teaspoon of tea leaves for
three cups of water.
I have found that the Linan tea is of such high
quality, that just 2 teaspoons will brew a full pot of tea in a standard 10 cup "Mr.
Coffee" maker with no problem, but you can use 3 teaspoons if you want to make it a
little stronger. And, if you need more, a second pot can be made from the same tea
leaves.
Another way is to use a standard tea pot. If
you're tea pot does not have a built in strainer to hold the tea leaves, use a tea ball
that can hold about 2 tablespoons of tea. Fill the tea pot with water, and place the
tea ball in the water. Heat the water to a boil until you hear the whistle, then
turn off the heat and let the tea sit for about 3 minutes. Stir the tea, and pour
yourself a delicious cup of Linan Green Tea! You can repeat the process twice using
the same tea leaves, and half the water if more tea is desired.
To make a single cup of tea, put one teaspoon of tea
leaves into your tea ball, put it into the cup and fill the cup with boiling water.
Let it sit for 3 minutes, stir, remove the tea ball and enjoy a delicious cup of Linan
High Grade Green Tea! Repeat this process up to three times using the same leaves.
A nice thing about making full pots of tea, is that you
can always save any left over tea in the refrigerator for use later on, as iced tea.
Protect the flavor of your iced tea by using a container with a tight sealing lid.
Enjoy drinking Linan Green Tea in the morning to give you vigor and vitality all day long.
Drink it as Iced Tea with lunch! Try it today, it's fast and convenient, tastes
great, and studies show it's good for your health!
